Check local auto accessory shops. That is where I got mine. It comes painted and installed for a set price, probably cheaper than you can get directly from the manufacturer. I'm sure the manufacturer sells the covers much cheaper to auto accessory shops.

Placed my order today for an Undercover.
658 shipped from 4Wheelonline. If you decide to go with them call to place the order. They will either give you a gas card or 20 off your order. Pics will be posted when I get it and put it on.

Undercover seems to be a popular choice. I'm having mine installed today (19th).

    thanks rocivm.
have you looked at the Truxedo Tonneau cover, it's a soft cover, but it may be usually for you and you can get one for around $500 or less. just some more food for thought

    Hey Ya'll,

when I started searching for a tonneau cover the prices were not to my liking. I decided to build my own. Mine cost me $366.00 to build. I went to my local Industrial Metal Supply, and bought a piece of aluminum diamond plate cut to fit, and cut into two pieces. I braced it with aluminum angle. I got locks at the hardware store. Sorry I don't have pictures of it yet. I had to trim the back where the bed gets narrower. The tools I used were a Harbor Freight Chicago tools 4 1/2" angle grinder, an electric drill, and normal hand tools.

I was not able to find a tonneau cover that came close in price that was a locking hard cover, and I have the satisfaction of having built it myself. When I get my computer issues sorted out I will post detailed pictures.

It rides on top of the bed rails, and is below the plastic bed caps. It is quite shiny.
