I'm not forming an opinion either way on this thread but I can't let this go: Solidarity? With anonymous people on the internet? You MUST be joking.

If someone has had good service from a business, why SHOULD that person stop using said business? That just makes no sense. Everyone should form their own opinion on where to spend their money. I am willing to bet that you won't be paying for anything for any forum members, will you?

What if someone told you that you have no solidarity with America because you bought a foreign vehicle? How would you feel about that? My grandfather will not buy anything but a Ford because he doesn't want US money leaving our shores. BUT, he doesn't rip me for owning a Toyota because it isn't his decision on where to spend my money.

Personally, I would not do business with this company. That's me, that's a decision I made.

Hey, "Wilsonthealwaystalkingshitguy" - solidarity in the fact that I don't like seeing other Toyota owners getting boned, that's all. I think american or unamerican is a little bit of a stretch. If you're looking for an argument, make a good point first and I'll be glad to engage. Don't read too much into it.

I don't buy american vehicles cause they suck balls.... and so does your analogy. Have a nice weekend.

TRD4U (toyota of dallas) screwed my when I purchased online. I bought a Sirius reciever, and then a week later, the dude calls me and says they dont have one in stock and its going to be 3 weeks.

I had to talk to a manger and got my money back, well I thought. I paid PayPal and they refunded me, but it said it was going to take a week to clear. A week later, the payment was withdrawn from my account by them.

Long story short, I finally got my money back, but what a bunch of touch holes. I had to wait a month so I could order from a REAL Toyota Dealer. (Toyotapart.com). Just my 5 cents.

Most of us who have laid down our hard earned dollars for a Taco and continue to lay them down every month can relate to the OP. Let's face it. Our Taco's aren't cheap. For those who have had good luck with TOD, then more power to them. I honestly hope you do not have a problem. Based on the facts, the odds are not in your favor. I think where TOD will most likely be hurt from this is new customers. I have never done business with them but will not give them the opportunity based on how the OP was treated. Good business practices would have dictated they bend over backwards for the OP. He was the one who was inconvenienced and property devalued. Their attitude is such that we can treat this customer to our best interest, not his. After all he is just one customer right? He will not tell others right? No one else will give a damn right? To the OP. There are those of us who have learned from your experience. Thank you for sharing it.
