Google chrome has the fastest javascript processing of any browser out there.

And google has been working on a new internet protocol that will be proprietary for Chrome that will replace HTTP. They are calling it SPDY, and if/when that gets finished, chrome will be the fastest browser out there, not just in terms of processing but with data transfer as well.

SPDY will be able to handle multiple transfers per a single connection. They also do a better job and compressing the data (compresses the header as well, where HTTP does not) in some tests they ran awhile back, they saw a 60% decrease in loading times.

Right now though, FF is still the way to go. If Google would make Chrome a bit more user friendly, i think they could easily steal a lot of users.

I have turtle-speed free WiFi, and it's pretty close (Chrome vs. Opera)...I can't tell whether Opera's "Turbo" is really doing anything.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
What's up with the way Chrome handles bookmarks? That browser is still pretty rough around the edges.. but does show lots of promise.

BTW, Apple Safari is a very fast browser with an uncluttered interface like Chrome.

My complaint with Firefox is how cluttered the interface is. It's very powerful but for most browsing is overkill.

    Anyway, just rambling I guess..
