Need some advice

Hey everyone,

Recently i changed the differential oil in my truck. Its a prerunner so it only has a rear differential (no LSD). I used 80w90 Lucas oil, used the correct amount, etc. etc. Right after, i took it for a test drive and it was rough as hell. It kind of felt like i was driving on gravel. Very jerky (for lack of a better word ). The ride continued to be EXTREMELY rough. I recently had the suspension TSB completed, but this was prior to the problem. Actually after I had the TSB completed i loved the ride quality. It was only after the differential oil replacement, that the ride quality went to shit (Imagine riding over a road that is nothing but 1 inch high speed bumps placed 1 ft. apart).

I needed to have my 5100's and BFG AT's installed. So I did thinking this would somewhat improve the situation. It did, but only to a certain degree. The extremely rough ride is still present. Some times on a rough section of the freeway, it feels like i could literally bounce out of the lane into the next one. Its horrible and i either need to get it corrected or sell the truck. This SUCKS.

Also wondering why there are no numbers for caster, SAI or Included Angle on my sheet...

 

check your tire pressure last time I got my tires rotated it was riding bad turns out it had 55psi in tires

 

If you have the e-locker then you should not need to add the LSD additive.

Not sure how changing the diff fluid would cause your truck to bounce out of the lane...

x2,something else is going on there.im stumped other than are your wheels tight to the truck if you had them off(dont know why)to do the rear diff.?

 

Give your rear suspension a once over to make sure nothing is loose? Weird that it happened after the diff oil change though...

 

Anyone have any more ideas? I'm really stuck here.
