THIS GROUP BUY IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. AL EDS DOES NOT HAVE ANY MORE Z110BT. Anyone interested in the U310BT LET ME KNOW.

There are only 5 units left. Anyone else interested please hurry.

This is a group buy from an Authorized Pioneer Internet dealer for the Z110BT and CDIU50V for $720 ( After a 200 dollar Mail in Rebate from Pioneer) + free shipping. The units are brand new factory sealed units. These Units sell for somewhere between 799 to 1199 ( after rebate at Pioneer Authorized dealers).

You pay 920 dollars for the HU and the IPOD and get 200 dollars from Pioneer for a total cost of $720. There is a minimum of 10 Units that needed to be ordered and that threshold was reached on the 25th of March.

A link to the unit can be found here.

There is a comprehensive support group for AVIC series at

    www.avic411.com

Currently Pioneer has a 200 dollar mail in rebate on these units till the 30th of April. Pioneer will honor the MIR only if the unit is brought from a selected list of Pioneer approved authorised Internet dealers. Also Pioneer will only warranty products brought from Authorised dealers only. So Ebay and not authorized websites are a no no on this one

    http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/authorized/mbg-authorized.html

If you are interested then please PM me and give me your email address. If you are not interested in the IPOD cable and you need to buy the Z110BT and one has to buy any other item > 50 bucks ie a PAC etc.

The Double DIN kits and the wiring harness can be brought from

    http://www.metraonline.com/

    http://www.scosche.com/vehicle.search.results/?applicationGuideID=14632%0D%0A&make=TOYOTA&year=2009&model=TACOMA

I would also check ebay. Generally the kits are somewhere between 20 to 50 bucks. OEM toyota kit would be much much more.

Update as of April 16th 09:27 AM CST.

THERE ARE ONLY 5 MORE UNITS LEFT. THE MIR ON THE UNIT IS VALID FOR PURCHASES MADE BY THE 30TH OF APRIL 2010.

I don't think its cheaper on Ebay.... and even if we assume it is there is no warranty on ebay purchased units.

Please check pioneer website with regards to their policy with regards to MIR and product warranty.

Finally you get what you pay for

Some people on ebay are authoized dealers and the warranty is covered. I have purchased all my audio on ebay with no problems.

I guess you haven't read Pioneer Policy. Please read it. The 920BT right now is around 400 dollars more.

With a software upgrade the Z110BT can be updated to.

    Please read up on this

    www.avic411.com

I will let people read up on the facts and decide for themselves.

I've heard good things about the Z110BT - but I have to say, I have always been an Alpine guy for my audio, and have NEVER cared about the warranty, because I knew the quality of the product I was getting and if I am spending $700 I would hope it was a quality product where the "limited" (read basically worthless) warranty that most of these audio companies provide isn't a factor when I am spending that kind of money. If I am that worried that I will need the warranty after dropping that much $$$$ I would be alittle upset.

Just posted to say this discount works and the $200 rebate looks to work as well. I was worried because the rebate form states that it cannot be combined with any rebates or discounts, but the receipt shows "coupon savings". I called the rebate hot-line number and they said it would be fine for the rebate!

I ordered Saturday and got the FEDEX tracking number today for the headunit. They called to tell me with iPod connector was out of stock and would be shipped out the first of April when they get another order of them in. So far so good.

I was looking at the Pioneer AVH-P4200, but another mid-level non-GPS model would also probably suffice.

Same here. $920 for the unit + $41 for the steering wheel adapter. A total of $760 after the rebate check arrives for the Z110BT, an ipod cable, and the steering wheel controller. Not a bad price for all that if you ask me.
