    Anybody else like playing paintball?

I played tournament paintball for years until my parents quit paying for it and it became too expensive for myself to afford. For those who know the sport, I used to play for a team called Thunder Kids. Mike Hinman of team Dynasty somehow got involved and took most of the original players to create the team SD Aftermath. I stopped playing not long after they were formed.

I live in Rancho Bernardo so I'm close to Velocity and Mr. Paintball/Raza.

I would love to meet some other guys into paintball and maybe go play sometime. Hell, maybe we can get a TW paintball day. Haha.

Now that you said all of that I would be scared to play against you! I have played 2 times. I love it. I would love to do it again but I have absolutely no gear or gun.

Haha im so out of shape now. Not that I was in very good shape then or anything. I still have most of my gear but my gun doesn't work and my tank is too old to use.

I formed a small team a couple years back. I was shooting your common ion with a virtue board and loved it. $100 to play for a day was way too much though so I quit playing

Yeah way too expensive. Try 2-3 times a week, 2-3 cases of paint a day, plus tournament fees, travel, lodging, and food for tournaments. I was lucky to play as long as I did.

wow. I went once a week and that was often for me. Paint was hella expensive and its impossible to skimp on paint if you want a chance at shooting straight. Seems like the business went down though. I used to play at Splat Factory weekly and they closed soon after they opened.

Splat Factory... I don't know where or what it is but it sounds familiar. I think I remember a lot of people wearing their shirts or something.

i played everyweekend for a while but it became so expensive.

right now im shooting a 05 Dark Alias intimidator. now that thing is a classic. i have shot shockers, ions, egos, dyes, and nothing compares. i have a few ugrades on it like a new reg, a BL on off asa, feedneck, all new internal parts from B.L.A.S.T. theyre awesome guys to deal with by the way. i have a CP tank and empire B2 hopper.

i cant say how much i love my gun enough. it shoots ropes, and after 5 years it hasnt broken once. :)
these are older pics it now has a red critical trigger too

i used to play quit a bit. had a couple of exchange students and now that they are gone non of the "kids" call anymore. i had a spyder semi auto, another i cant remember the name of that was an auto, three hoppers (one was powered), 10 paintball tubes, two tube belts, two boxes of balls, gun grease, three tanks (2 were small, and 1 large), a paintball shirt, and a paintball carrying case. i sold all of it to a kid (he was about 12 years old) in a garage sale. he asked how much i wanted for all of it, i told him $250. he looked so dissipointed i let it all go for $100. i wish i could of got his reaction on film. feels good to do right sometimes.
