    Rain Visors,
Hey guys, coming from a 600 tq/lbs diesel with an 8ft bed....i am used to all the space in the world. It will be at least 2 years before I go back to a full sized rig. But in the mean time, this little truck does pretty good.
Great in the snow esp with the locker
had no real issue towing a car hauler with a 4200lbs car (6800 total)

I do rental properties so i am ALWAYS running around fixing things....in this box i have EVERYthing to tackle 95% of basic jobs......when doing big jobs i load the bed or a trailer....

Since Ive decided to keep...LET THE MODDING begin!!! Ill keep you posted.

So what made you go from an big oil burner to a Taco?
They are not the biggest thing on the road, but very capable for most things we need them to do!

    Rain Visors,
Yea, need a plunger, there is a 5gal bucket in the bed too, and under the plunger is a snake.....that will take care of most of the issues. The black boxes are all organized by trade. Plumbing has copper joints, threaded joints, and all misc stuff, electrical is the same...so i can grab and go...It does need to be more organized and condensed...

But it saves so much time having EVERYTHING, extra basin lines, washers, wax rings, all the basic fittings. I can fix most household issues with what's in there....

And now that I know im keeping it, Need to start modding, some new lighting, better OBA system. seat covers....

    Rain Visors,
the reason I switched.....I had an 05 Ford 6.0L that blew up..they bought it back. and a 1997 12V dodge....LOVED it, burned anything as fuel. but with 190K on it, it needed front end work, lots and lots of rust underneath....It needed a bed liner, new interior, minor engine work......

I would have ept it forever, but it needed the frame coated too, no abs, and just old....which is fine if you maintained it for 190K. but i got it at 140K and this guy did nothing..

So it would have taken about 5K to make it awesome again, but i sold it for 10K. took that 5K and got an 06 taco...

Sometimes I miss the power and smoke and ease but its ok..ill go back everntually but for right now, this is just fine..

tho my biggest complaint the driver SEATS ARE SO UNCOFMORTABLE after a few hrs.....
anyone ever put 4runner leather ones in there???

Ford is buying back blown 6.0 psd's? that engine was the worst move they ever made, I miss the 7.3 / 444E's now those were good engines! (smelly but solid).

I have a sport and think my seats are great. They are stiff but I like them that way. Leather, I wish. . .only our friends to the north get that luxury. 4runner swap, not a bad idea. . .

    Rain Visors,
it is a kobalt from lowes. I wish i got the bigger one that didnt have the cuts in it and just raised it above the wheel wells. those cuts are very annoying.

You cant get it in black but over the summer, I am gonna make a headache rack that will raise it off the bed rails a few inches, and when I do, i'm going to spray it with hurculiner to make it black.
