newbie question..but when you lifted your truck with the 5100s...what other parts do you need to buy when lifting it...new coils or any other stuff like that? how much would i be spending if i wanted to use the 5100s as a lift?

$210 delivered for the front 5100s... then a front end alignment,,, $150.00..

The rear on mine is only the dealer installed TSB... I had them put the front 5100s in at the same time they did the TSB... that way I got a free wheel alignment...

YA... I have been debating the mud flaps.... I am going to wait until I get the Nfab steps or some kind of slider down the side to protect from the rocks coming off the tires... Maybe in a few weeks.

The ride is fine... Nothing harse... It drives a little different on the interstate but that isnt the lift it is the tires. I think I may have them over inflated. It drove perfect after the lift on stock tires. I dont think they did a good job balancing them... I may take them back and let them do it again.

The tires look good.... I have gotten a LOT of comments on the tires and I havent had them a week yet... but they are a bit noisy for an AT. I didnt know what to expect... some said they were noisy some said they would be quiet. I guess it is all what you are comparing them to.

I have 35 muds on my old Bronco and they roar like a hurricane... So compared to them the MT are quiet.... compared to the stock Rugged Trails they are loud. My daughter noticed right off... she looked at me like something was wrong with the truck.

Anyway... if I dont get used to them I may be offering them for sale soon... I drive a lot on the interstate which is where they make the most noise. BUT... my daughter loves the look of the tires and I may give this truck to her next year when she turns 16. She will get either the Taco or the FJ.... I havent decided yet.

    TSB equals Toyota Service Bulliten...

Toyota will replace the rear leafs under warranty for many of the trucks. It increased the load capacity and lifts the truck about an inch.... some say they get more but I got about an inch.
