The nautilus takes quite a few amps so it should be fed from a fuzed connection to the battery. The regular horn wiring can be used to enable the included relay. This mod is *very* popular with bike groups. Here is one of many how-tos:

Does anything beefier than the stock single horn need a relay larger than the stocker?

Assuming this is a shifter, I think it would slow reaction time when needed most. My horn sounds loud enough to be effective, but if I ever upgrade, I'll use the stock horn actuator on the steering wheel.

    Safety first.

I have these on my TACO now and they are fairly effective. I could fart louder than the stock horn I had from the factory. Thank god it finally quit on me....(My next horn will be an electric train horn--when I honk at someone I want them to know!!!)

Are they electric or pressure driven?
