Anyone know where I could get a good quality one of these? (with the pin included)

 

Tractor supply company, harbor freight, northern tool, or you could pick up the pin for $1 at Lowes, Home Depot, Autozone, etc.

I just got a warn one on Amazon for $35 i think. Everywere esle was $65

but it seems like they would come together, idk why they would sell you half of a kit that you cant use yet untill you go out and buy the pin

Probably because if you've already got the hitch for the reciever then you already have the pin to go with it. Why carry two pins around?

 

Checked with the local Toyota parts department. The hitch they sell comes with the pin.

And every time i have bought a ball receiver, it has never come with the hitch pin.

 

i do because alot of ppl dont carry 1 around and a 2in wide strap fits into the trailer hitch on the pin. its also locked in instead of sitting on the ball. which is fairly easy so slip off when wet. thats also the reason for the shackle. but can also be use to connect 2 straps together.

 

Ah ha, you can get a receiver with a ball and pin from local auto store(called a start up kit). Just being a smart ass
