From what I gather, the only acceptable trim color on Tacomaworld is black. That's what 90% of votes will be. Go spend $3 at Walmart and fix that fashionably unacceptable skid before the masses lynch you.

This was the first thing I bought for my taco. It lasted all of 2 weeks before I painted it black. Of course my truck is black, however I gotta go with black for yours. It'll look better painted man. just my $0.02

Ric'sTaco - would you have a pic of your truck with the black skid? Curious to see what the end product looks like.

I painted mine gunmetal gray. I love it. It doesn't "pop" as much as when it was silver but looks great nonetheless.

I did it by myself. I took it off and sprayed 4 coats on it while i was mowing my lawn. I painted my badges the same color

Normally I really dislike all the black accessory stuff on the forums, but for your blue truck, I might actually have to agree just this once.

I have the stock black skid plate for my silver truck that came with the off road package, wish I had the silver accessory one instead. =/
