No need to be rude. This is what you said.
My point was that it does not solve a power problem. Re-gearing solves a gearing problem. Horsepower solves a power problem. Simple. I wheeled my 4, it has a fantastic crawl ratio, and it shortcomings don't related to gear ratio. I understand your bias.
Your verbosity is a separate issue. Chill.

^^^ all wheel bases handle objects differently. short works better on certain stuff. longer wheel base on others.

....Oh dear god. My head is starting to hurt.

Ok, here's something else to think about.....

Obviously, it depends on what type of wheeling you're doing.

    BUT

    It also depends on:

Is the truck your daily driver?
Do you do a lot of highway miles?
Do you plan to put huge tires on it?
What are your plans in terms of building it?
What is your ultimate goal with the truck & offroading?

This is the kind of thread that should be moved to the "green room" when it gets kind of pointless.

I wanna say something. I'm gonna put it out there; if you like it, you can take it, if you don't, send it right back... I think 6cyl are better than 4cyl.
[4cyl crowd turns and walks away]
Wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I... I think 6cyl are better than 4cyl.

This thread is pointless, its like the OR vs Sport or SB vs LB threads..

We all think our trucks are the greatest.:D
