I wasn't going to go so far as to say it's gay, but I don't think 'black' is necessary... It's pretty obvious you have a black truck. The TRD outlined is f'ing awesome, though.

i thought it would be different i thought it would look like it came from the factory all blacked out and thats what they called it trd black instead of trd sport i wasnt sure about it either maybe i will change it

Don't change it just b/c some guys on an internet forum didn't give super-positive feedback. It's your truck, and it should look the way you want it. I wouldn't have done the 'black' on the decal, but that's about the only thing I wouldn't have done.

If I buy a black truck, I'm getting the outlined gray TRD decals for it, b/c those are badass.

actually the trd is flat black and so is the BLACK i just had it done a while ago and it used to say sport and just changed it so it needs to fade alittle to match or we will see maybe i will have it all redone he only charges 15 bucks for both sides

Sockmonkey makes decals that replace the badges on the truck... I don't know who you got the TRD logos from, but I bet Sock could make some decals that would match so that all of your badging would have that outlined look.

I would love to see this conversation in person. If even one person gets tricked into asking for the "black edition" Tacoma, I say leave the stickers as-is.
