    what size tires you running
i have 285/75/16 with 1 1/2" spacers and they stick out past the flares about 3/4"
i run spacers from trail-gear.com they have worked very well for me (2nd truck with them). they also offer 1" and 1 1/4"
you are going to hear that you must run hub-centric spacers from other posters
but i have found this to be totally untrue. both sets of my spacers have been lug-centric and have worked fine. the key to safety with spacers is proper torque on the bolts(80 ft-lbs) and having hardened studs in the spacer.

ill be running 265 70 17 on the stock sport 17s. i dont want it out too much to flick dirt all over the place and crash people windows behind me. jsut something nice/safe/good price. nothing that messes up the ride or anything heh

I would probably go with the 1 1/4 with that size tire.
i think the trail-gear.com ones are about $69 a pair
i would not go with the ones off e-bay for $49 they do not include hardened studs(my boy learned the hard way)

what is your ultimate plan? This will help determine if spacers are a good investment.

I have 265 70 17 with stock wheels with 3" lift and after seeing it finished, I decided I don't want to use spacers cause I didn't want the risk of crap being flung all over the side of my truck. I also wanted to keep mudflaps.

Here are pics of the side of my truck with everything installed and NO spacers. Try to imagine tires out another 1.25" and that'll give you a good idea. I think it looks pretty sick the way it is. If anything, I'd try .5" spacer, but no bigger.

I will look at again today and imagine w 1.25" spacers and decide yes/no on using them, but most likely it will be NO.

I looked at again today and would not want my current tires sticking out any further. They are flush with the mudflaps, so I think the sides of my truck are fairly protected.

None yet- Future: HIDs, Tinted tails, LED interior lights,
Spidertrax and All-Pro wheel spacers are what I'm looking at. They both use the same Aluminum.
