So I drive a 2009 4cyl 4x4 reg. cab. I told myself I wasn't going to mod it at all, but who was I kidding :D I just bought new tires after wearing out the stock dunlops and picked up a set of trd wheels off craigslist for 200 bucks. I went from the 245/75-16 to 265/70-16 nitto terra grapplers. I know I could of gone bigger but I was concerned about loss of power with my 4cyl. I'm pretty set on putting 5100's in all 4 corners.

with that said I'm looking to lift the truck or level it out. How much lift could I get without my wheels/tires looking tiny? How about spidertrax spacers to add a little more stance?

I drive a bunch on high way and off road a few times a year on hunting trips and the occasional dicking around.

here are a few pics of my truck with the new wheels and tires

Here's a pic of mine: 2.2" front, 1" rear, sits totally level ( the shell and my kit weigh the rear down a bit...) sitting on stock TRD OR wheels, Spidertraxx spacers, and 265/75-16s

Sorry I don't have better pics of the stance, but basically the tire tread is about even with the widest part of the top of the fender and the sidewalls buldge out wider than the truck.

I think if you just level yours out your tires might look borderline small but not too bad. Def look more proportionate with the 265/75-16s tho.

IMO it looks better with the stock wheels spaced out too.

awesome... yeah I think im going to leave the rear alone and try 1.75" front with the spacers all around. I guess I can always AAL later on.

Thanks for the pics of the spacers on stock wheels... helped me out a lot!

An extra note: You're lucky with the reg.cab, your truck will look proportionate/beefy with 32s/ leveled and look real nice whereas the DCLBs need 35s and a 6" to look proportionate IMO.
