I'll check eBay just thought someone might know a website to get'em at. Thanks for the link to laminex but I'd rather go with the bulbs.

also interested in those HID fogs, they would be very useful for me since its foggy here a lot in the valley, and since i drive over the pass a lot id like to see what the yellow does for when its snowing like an S.O.B.

I searched for them but all i can find are 04 and earlier models. I would just like to see some that can be swapped out without the headaches of having any electrical/melting issues.....:D

    That is a horrible comparison.

The headlights have a cutoff aim way lower. Where as the fog lights provide a scattered beam.

Apples and orange in that pic.

Please explain. To me, the picture says it all. Much more light provided with the fog lights on.

However, I would like to see the difference between low beams with regular fog bulbs VS low beams with the HIDs.

I always drive with my fogs on at night because it provides so much more light.

Where I grew up, back in the 80s the fog was so thick sometimes you had to go slow, think 20-30 on a 55 hiway. This is out in Eastern Oregon near pendleton. If you think " yea, im sure i could handle it" you rear ended someone and thats the facts.
There were times we turned off the headlights they reflected back so bad and used nothing but yellow fog lights. Wehn it was that bad most people tried to avoid driving, it often coincided with freezing weather and made black ice.

Luckily no real fog here in Portland, but i want to find foglights that fit the factory spot yellow ones.

The picture does say it all, you're just misinterpreting it.

From the pictures, it looks like the truck had HIDs for headlights also. Looks to be projectors, but the beam isnt very wide at all...

The headlights provide a narrow beam. And the fog lights provide a flood beam. I dont know how I can make it more clear.

A better comparison would have been with 4100-4300K fogs to yellow fog.

    Actually, here's a quick pic.

^ Epic picture. Fogs aren't meant to throw light down the road, but rather short distances and to the sides. HID's in the fog housing is a waste, but to each their own. Luminics from e-bay FTW!

Just got a pair of yellow lenses off e-bay. They are exact oem replacement and look great. I put the laminX on but wasn't happy with the look. Next is the HID set up

I bought the diamond yellow fog light bulbs from autolumination.com. Since the crystal is clear instead of yellow, there is just a hint of yellow light. I suspected that would be the case, but I was hoping for more. When one of them blows, I'll probably try the 3-3.5K yellow bulbs.
