Well, you're 21-that's not good for motorcycle insurance period. But, it seems State Farm is pretty good. I have heard mixed reviews on Geico's motorcycle coverage. I insured my motorcycle with my current insurance company, Country insurance, and their rates were pretty cheap but I was in my early 30's when I had a bike.

Progressive ins. is good, as long as you don't live in MA, where its not available.

So I actually do this for GEICO but quick question are you looking for just liability insurance or for insurance to cover the bike as well

same company you use for auto and home. they should discount you for giving them more of your business. im 27 and pay ~300 a year for MC insurance. cheap.

Wow 1100 for liability is kinda crazy...but honestly check GEICO out for just liability. I will say the good thing about state farm is that they don't write motorcycles like progressive and GEICO so they just base it of the CC's of the bike versus what kind of bike it is. Which could be better for your money. But for the most part liability should be decently cheap even if your only 21.

I had Mcgraw insurance which was $105 for the whole year just for liability and I think I for full coverage they quoted $6,500. I asked them why so much and said most people put a claim on their motorcycle within 2 years. Yeah I had liability for 3 years I think and every year it went down some more.

LED light bar in the lower grill. Trailer plug relocate. Auxiliary reverse LED's wired in to be manual or auto on when in reverse.
so thats all you can do, since it will vary from person to person and company to company. I have GEICO as well for me and my senario they quoted me for two bikes 1) 2007 Aprilia RSVR 2) 2005 Triumph Sprint ST 1050. I am 41, own a home and good record for 15 years, and my Tacoma and Si are with them so for full coverage 0 deductible is 605 a year.
Now with that said Dairyland (if availble to you) quoted me only 75 more with out have all the other vehicles and house with them.

Good luck with your search and that Ninja, looks it could be like a good project bike.

I have Nationwide and it is about $400 a year for full coverage. I got it when I was 24ish I think. But mine isn't a crotch rocket so that might be more. :)

A buddy of mine just bought a used bike and paid $83-ish for 6 months. It's liability only. He's 28yrs old, though, and his bike has a smaller engine and isn't a crotch rocket. He got it from State Farm, where he has a few other policies.
