Debt is not good. Check out the Who has paid off his truck thread. There is a lot of good advice in that thread. Check out Dave Ramsey for financial planning. Leather seats and do dads cannot compare to be being debt free.

    Marc,
Nice new truck and leather to boot. I had better not let my wife know about leather. She insists on leather. Did they put some kind of tape seal on the doors and gas lid? I have never seen that before.

I would like to know if anyone has a 2010 Tacoma, 4x4, double cab, v6 that has a clicking sound upon accelleration? Has anyone found out what causes it and how to fix it? I just purchased it and went to the dealer to complain. They heard the sound but didn't check anything, and said it was normal. My other 2007, was quiet upon acceleration and I feel this needs to be fixed. Any thoughts?
1st update: I took the truck in to be checked and was told it was consistent with Tacoma trucks. They didn't have any answers as to what is causing the problem. If it is consistent with Tacoma that means they knew about it, and I should have been told so that I could decide if I wanted to live with this clicking each time I drove the truck. I have checked the lemon laws and consumer laws and will try to work witih the business owner first to resolve this. He is checking with the service manager and will call me back. I am documenting everything that is said or done. I have a call in to talk with a factory service representative.

I guess so, there were some other units on the lot with the same applications. Just tonight I passed a truck loaded with Audis that were all completely emcompassed in white bags that looked like the material disposable coveralls are made of. Mine could have used one of those.

Thanks, I THINK its BSP. :D

    Appreciate it, thanks IP.

    :)

    $1k option, Maritimer package. :D

There is definitely a phenomenon known as the "Tacoma tick" and my '07 has it. There has been a lot of discussion here about it, search "tick" or "ticking" and you will see a LOT of people hear it.

Here she is, 5100's up front set at 2.5, 5125's out back with an AAL. Switched over my PC'd stock wheels with FJ centers and GY DuraTrac's, 265/70/17. I also put on a Leer 100XL cap with a Thule Tracker II system. Next I'm hardwiring my Sirius and adding a Vais sharkfin adapter and a set of Stubbs HD-SKO sliders are being installed on Thursday.

Mine was clicking like that too. I wasn't too worried about it. After driving it 2700 miles, it's quit doing it.

Nice! Those black wheels really pop on that longbed!
I vote peel the bed stickers while they're still fresh.. I never regretted it a minute!
    How 'bout some leather shots??
