97_Halo Projector Headlights MakeOver

The other day I did some work to my old headlights.It's took almost 3 hours to completed.My hard task were taking the headlights off and some wire connection works. All in all it's look o.k. I guess

i like them.. i have the same ones on my truck except they are black..

yea i dont think the chrome ones would look all that great on my truck since i keep it in the mud and such..

Hows the light output/cutoff line?

 

if adjusted right they put out pretty good. the cut off line is not straight but you cant expect a retrofit projection with ebay lights. i have 1000k hid's in mine and i had to point them down some because i was blinding people

 

Yea I wouldnt expect them to be awsome. But at least better then stock lol.

1000K? did you mean 5000K?

 

no, i meant 10000k.. they are blue. the 5000k is more white. the higher the heat the more of a blue tint. a few of my buddies are runnin 16000k

 

yea i know about color but you wrote 1000 at first which would be yellow so i wanted to make sure lol

And a more recent pic of current mods. I have some 6000k HID's for the low beam and silverstars for the highs very bright!!

 

im doing something similar. im going to retrofit some projectors into some stock housings. should throw out crazy light output and a pretty decent cutoff.

 

Would it be possible to retrofit a different lense/bulb from theretrofitsource.com into these headlights? I assume the lense/bulb arn't too great since they are from ebay u know
