    bone stock save for the block lift that came on it with the open country m/t.
    I have that exact one. I really like it. Easy install, only problem is, it doesn't charge your mp3 player, and the volume is definitely an issue for me, but overall, I give a :thumbsup:

    so the 60-100+ dollar difference is that it doesn't charge your ipod? this seems like a no-brainer to me.

    it didn't bother me, I have a car charger that hooks up to it no problem, and that was $15, so to me, minor details. :) surprised you actually found one, thought they were discontinued.

    Depends on what type of ipod you use with it. It charges my older model Nano, but not a Touch, from what I've heard. The sound is good to me in the truck; I plugged it up through an aux port in a rental and and it was noticeably quieter than in the Tacoma. You might want to turn up the volume on the ipod and make sure the volume limiter isn't too low, just in case. It'll also work with the steering controls.
