After months of research and deliberation (which was going on concurrently with researching and buying a house), I finally found my Tacoma!

It is a 2010 Double Cab TRD Off Road M/T in Timberland Mica. Picked it up with 295 miles on it, of which 25 were my test drive, and 130 were moving it from another dealership.

I've already used it to haul wood twice, haul a lawn mower, drive to Home Depot with a truck full of muddy friends after ditch digging, and just bombed around in it a bit. 400+ miles in the first three days. :D

So far my mileage has averaged about 18mpg, hopefully I can get it up to or over 20 as the engine breaks in.

No scratches in the paint yet, but I've got a few in the bed liner and a bunch of mud to clean out of the floor mats. Weathertechs are in my near future.

No pictures yet, I've been too busy and worn out to get them to my computer and uploaded.

All I can say is that I LOVE MY TRUCK!!! :yay:

Congrats on the truck I've only had mine for about a month now. Its a new used 08 DC 4x4 tow package SR5 with 14k now. I've been getting aboug 17.5 around town and 22.5 on the highway using the cheap gas. So once yours gets broken in your mileage should increase. I will be trying 93 octane to see if that gets me any better mileage. Good luck enjoy your new truck!

    A few pictures!

Here it is sitting beside my Mazda3:

Breaking it in with a little light lumber/tool hauling (boards on top are 2X12X16):

Getting it a little dirty playing on some back roads. The traction and capabilities are unbelievable!
