I got to be honest, I thought these things were supposed to be awesome, but every video I watch they just slide around and go virtually nowhere.

That's a killer rig...Too bad the hill won.

 

Common denominator was that the rock were slick with mud. They just couldnt get traction. Those tractor type tires dont seem to be really good with grip.

 

The major problem here is lack of weight. There's nothing there to for the tires to get traction. If the back end of that thing had a couple of hundred pounds, those tires would get traction.

 

I watched that whole video for that?!? A little roll over? Lame... You can tell that he was getting impatient and frustrated by the end of the video. I was hoping he was gunna lose an axle or something crazy though.

That guy is an idiot. There was no way he was gunna make it. With every try he was ruining the run and his chances more and more. He did look like he had pretty good control of that thing.

I like how every time he backed up and looked at his spotter the spotter just shrugs.

And I agree with the 'too light' observation. That thing would be great in high traction rocky areas but all that horse power was wasted in the mud without weight to plant those tires.

 

I'm glad the ass rolled I hope it broke his rig. After I don't the twelfth time not getting even close to the top stop tearing up the hill with useless attempts. I'm by no means a tree hugger but I do respect the trails we all enjoy.
