OK,, I just bought my truck last Saturday...

It kinda smells like a dog. We changed the incab air filter,, I let a cup of vinegar sit in the truck for 3 days...and I have 2 Arm and hammer baking soda fridge boxes in it..lol( former owner had a dog,, vacuumed ALOT up)

I cannot use sprays to just cover it up.. My husband is HIGHLY allergic to fragrances... even some natural ones...
the smell is still kind of there,, well a lil more than kind of,,, it isnt highly stinky,, but man I still want to get rid of it..

Was thinking of getting a small carpet cleaning machine and using either baking soda water mix, or maybe even squeezing a little bit of lemon in the water...

    Ideas?

    Thanks

Natures Miracle. It's available at Petco kinda expensive there though. I get mine at a local feed store, it's cheaper there. I find it works very well on pet odors.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You could just get a bottle of this and a spray bottle. Mix it with warm water and spray the fabric and blot dry. I use it in my little mean green spot lifter machine at home for furniture. Works great.

I will look into them... As I stated,, they cannot have any Fragrance or "masking fragrance" in them,, as Hubby is highly allergic to fragrances..
    Thanks for your help....

I must have missed that part of your post. The bissell stuff does have a slight fragrance to it.

Put some charcoal bricketts in a cardboard box in the back seat (on the floor).

Just make sure you DON'T use the ones with the lighter fluid in them.

I know this sounds crazy, but a guy at the local shop told me that if you buy an order of large fries from McDonalds and leave it sit in your truck overnight it will absorb all the smells. Sounds like yours is in the material though. I guess if nothing else works, it's worth a shot? I dunno.
