12v outlet caps

Wondering if anyone knows where I can order an outlet cap to replace the cigarette lighter in my 2010. I have no use for the lighter and would like to just make a uniformed look. Thanks.

it wont be uniform unless you replace both of them, cuz the factory one on the right is hinged on the dash itself right?

 

Well it's got a little ring around the outlet with the cap hinged on that.

 

Check Radio Shack....
And Carson is right... If you find the part number the dealer may be able to order you a new socked with the gray hinged cover and then just switch them out...

From what I can tell (at least on my 2009), the outlet P/N 85560-06010 and the Gray cover P/N is 85535-0C010.

I have not accomplished this mod yet. Still doing my own research.

 

Like many people, I don’t smoke. So I too don’t need a cigarette lighter in my truck. So I replaced it with something that’s both more attractive and practical… An additional “original equipment” 12V power outlet and cover, Toyota Part #’s 85560-06010 (power outlet) and 85535-0C010-B2 (grey cover). Not only does it look better, it actually works better too when used as a 12V accessory outlet.

There are also several threads in the forums on how to remove the cigarette lighter so again, no need to repeat the instructions here. Just search on “cigarette lighter” and you can learn how to do this as I did.

 

I replaced mine with but you need to purchase the outlet ..... the lighter "ring" is a different size.
