Yea I figured I would scuff it up! Nothing much! Maybe just run some sand paper over it a few times! But the plexi dnt feel to slick! And I have found ones you can buy online with plexi so they must be ok!

my boards are gloss polyurethane and I was worried about them being to slick. I played this weekend and it wasnt a problem at all.

once you get a little dust on them from the bags, it slides nicely

Sweet, I was afraid I would have to use Sandpaper and that is the last thing I want to do! Cause then it may mess up seeing my images!

Boards are drying tonight! Tomorrow we will put the plexiglass on! We have decided to use mirror brackets so that the glass can be removed easily! I will post pictures tomorrow!

I don't really know anything about "corn holes" but i use plexiglass, backed with plywood, as an artificial ice surface. Just thought i would share that with you.

We call that game "bean bags" up here... I think if you ask anyone about their "cornhole" this far north you might end up with a blackeye or a date.

Hmmm... Could be a Philly thing.

So FYI, when in Philly DO NOT ask to play with someones "cornhole" or make any reference towards putting ANYTHING in ANYONE's "cornhole". Doing so could be hazardous to your well being. :)

Just wanted you all to know, that the original game was played with bags filled with corn rather than sand or beanbags. They are great, if you can find them!! My grandparents make the sets. My grandpa, who is an excellent woodworker, makes the boards while my grandma makes the corn bags. For those that love the game, try playing it with Corn Bags!

Also, in refernce to the guy that used plexiglass, if the boards aren't slick enough, get some wak paper from the grocery store. Rub it on the board and it should make it a little slicker. Be carefull of overdoing it though b/c it might be too slick for some people.
