I've no clue but it would be well worth you time to get on a shotgun forum and ask.

It's a low grade shotgun made in Russia. Check out http://www.shootingsportsman.com. The site is mainly for mid to high grade shotguns, but there should be some information on there about the Baikal line. Click on SSM Interactive and then bulletin board.

im going to look at the gun tomorrow...i've wanted a SxS for awhile now and the price seems pretty good

its supposedly in great shape (like just out of the box shape) and i was kind of hoping to get a feel for what a fair price to pay would be (without telling you what he wants for it first)

Plus i just dont feel like joining another forum that will make me spend more money...i have that ability without forums

I have a Baikal 310 Over / Under. It's made in Russia, and imported by Remington. I have shot a thousand rounds through it in that last few months and it works flawlessly. The machining could use a little work, and the bluing isn't perfect, but it's a solid gun. I love it. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

What are your plans for this gun? Just home protection or hunting? 20" barrels are really short and would not make a very good hunting gun.
