    I did get to 11,500 during the trip, but it was in a tunnel. Here's a pic of my altimeter as I was still going up. :)

    :D I lived at the bottom of the pass for 5 years, so it's a very familiar sight.

    You should have taken the scenic route back, but I guess with your suspension busted it was probably out of the question.
