Thanks for the thoughts and prayers Riding & everyone else!
Yes, 5 days and counting....this coming Monday is the big day. :woot:
Will, you better have a few beers for me & some of that potent clear grain homemade stuff too. :D I more than likely will be in a drug induced coma, lol....

I ve been busy doing as much as I can. Moved the bedroom down into the family room. This weekend I am going to Americade in Lake George, NY.
My last harrah on the bike for the season, but I will come back with a vengence!!
Probably increase my post count on here too....once the drugs wear off...

Hey Judy, hope everything went well. Just thought it was kind of wierd, you started this thread exactly 1 year to the day of your surgery. Hope to see you on here when you feel up to it.

Hi Judy just wondering how did it go?? I've got knee pain on my left knee and I know how frustrating it is. I tore my ACL 8 yrs ago on a Sunday and that same week on Thursday my wife gave birth to our baby girl (who is now 8 yrs old.) and mind you we had a 2 yr old boy running around (first born) So there we all are in the hospital, wife C-section, me with a blown knee, new born, and a 2 yr. old.:D I can look back know and laugh but it was real hard. My sister moved in for three months, my friends came to cut my 1 acre yard on weekends, my mom and mother in-law did breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was always someone there for us. And I'm hopeing that someone is there for you!!!
    Godspeed Judy,
We are all waiting for an update on your surgery........

Looking forward to hearing how you made out Judy. Absolutely everyone I know that has had a knee or hip replaced has said the same thing -- "I wish I had done it sooner". A tough road ahead with recovery/rehab but you'll be glad you did it. Thoughts and prayers coming your way!

Thanks Dave, yes on the mend...when can I drive? :)
Thanks Denis, yes I feel good, its great to be home!

Hi Ben, yes Dave is pretty observant. I did not even realize that!

Thanks Rob, glad to hear you had great support during your surgery time! Yes my family and friends are super & I am truly blessed! I loved your story about your family & friends pitching in during your time of need. Thanks for your kind words! All is good!

Did you hide my vicodin again Ben? lol

Thanks Kristin! Things are looking up.
Yes I can so I understand that now! Thanks for the thoughts & prayers! :)

Thanks everybody for the thoughts and prayers. :)
I officially have a new Stryker implant in my left knee!! :woot:
It feels good for only being less than a week out. Already walking w/ my walker, climbing some stairs & have 75 degrees flex, and at zero straight out, and am willing to be patient with my recovery & follow the rehab plan completely.
My surgery started at 3 pm EST Monday 6/14 and was done an hour & half later. By Weds. I was discharged and home! My doctor and his staff were/are awesome, the absolute best & believe they were channeled to by the Grace of God as well as all the other amazing angels in my life today. My at Home Physical Therapy has already started & will get my staples out next weds.
And yes you do get some loopy drugs too fwiw. Made me a tad
Here is a before pic of my knee next to its good one.

Me after surgery with happy drugs....where did I park my truck & where is Simon???????????
