It seemed so amazing, maybe you've seen it. Its the red toyota crushing snow up to the magnetic pole. Pretty intense trying to keep them from being buried. It has great dramatic classical music but, I think they used the wrong music - they should have used stuff from Tim Hus.

Check it out. Its country music.

That is where I was last year. It was a f*$king laugh. Who needs stinking roads ? Time that guy gets where he is going all his box supplies will be missing. Maybe that is where all that stuff I kept finding came from. Can't remember ever getting stuck. Snow is packed like concrete. Had to get rescued like not once but twice. Man storms pop up out of nowhere and you can't see your hand in front of your face. You can't even tell which way is up let lone how to get back to where you came from. Direction is not the problem it's the holes that you may drive into. Death holes. You can't see them in the storm. Basically when a storm blew threw everything came to a complete stop because mounting a rescue if someone where to get hurt would be damn near impossible.

That video is from the BBC television show "Top Gear."
Top Gear: Polar Special was an episode of the popular series Top Gear, first broadcast on 25 July 2007 on BBC Two. It was an attempt by the BBC's Top Gear crew to be the first to drive a motor vehicle to the 1996 location of the Magnetic North Pole.
The project was co-ordinated by the car manufacturer Toyota and Top Gear, with the help of Arctic Trucks, an Icelandic vehicle modification company. The vehicle used was a modified Toyota Hilux. Toyota promoted the event under the name Hilux Arctic Challenge.
The UKTV channel Dave has broadcast this episode in an edited 46 minute version for their one hour broadcast slots,[1] as has BBC Canada. The special has also been released on DVD as one-half of the Top Gear: The Great Adventures set, along with the Top Gear: US Special.

Here is a link to the wikipedia page about the episode. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilux_Arctic_Challenge

What they didn't show in that video was the fact that the shots where the truck is flying through the snow is when Jeremy Clarkson was getting tired of getting stuck and just hammered down only to have destroyed a shock and puncture their extra fuel tank. They spent so much time digging the truck out of the snow that they thought they were going to go crazy.

It was a great episode and a testament to Toyotas. Makes me wish the Hilux was available over here.

    Very cool video!

Later today when it tops out yet again at 95 here in NC I'll think of all that snow, maybe it will help!
