I found a massive hole in the from of my 02 tacoma the other day. I called my local dealer and they told me there was a deadline of October to get the frames inspected? Does anyone know if this is true?

    Thanks

I think it is only if you get the inspection.

you must get the inspection by october then it is warrantied for 15 years.

how often can/should one have a frame inspected within those 15 years?

It is 15 years. You must get it inspected by October to "activate" your warranty. Then you can get an inspection every year after this.

and if you miss the october deadline? you don't qualify anymore for the warranty?

That's my understanding of the letter Toyota sent. Says you must get the inspection by the october deadline.
