How to keep a generator secure in the bed?

Hey all,

I'm doing a semi-crazy all-summer trip where I'm towing a travel trailer around the country.

I'm adding a Honda EU3000is generator to the mix starting next weekend, and am looking for suggestions on how to keep it safe (and more importantly) secure in the bed while I travel.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to lock it in the bed?

Is the TT up for sale after your trip around the world? I was going to suggest a cargo carrier added to the rear bumper of the TT with the generator locked down with a cable. You could also secure your gas cans with it. Safe travelling. You should update your location on TW as you travel, as well as your next location.

 

Well...I picked up the trailer two weeks ago. I hadn't really considered selling it yet.

It currently doesn't have a rear bumper, but I think I like the idea of adding one along with a cargo carrier...and bike rack...and...
