Painting my sliders now!

So my bolt on sliders arrived this week from Brandon at Avid OffRoad. They look perfect! I have put off spending the money for the longest time but with 104K on the truck I figured its now or never. So today I am painting them and bolting them on. I'll post up some pics when they're done!

 

cant wait, I did my install in about 30 minutes by myself. Just keep a rattlecan handy in your truck for touchups.

 

I know I started this a few weeks ago, but I have been wicked busy. The sliders went on very easily, the hardest part was waiting for the paint to dry enough. I think they look great and would recommend AVID Offroad Sliders to everybody.

The sliders look great. What did you paint them with? Did you do a primer coat? etc. Thanks

 

I used matte black Rust Stop Paint from ACE. I used the Rust Stop primer as well as Duplicolor Undercoating on the bottom to help with rock chips (I drive on a lot of gravel). They've been on there 3 weeks and are still looking pretty sharp.
