Admittedly I ride like a complete idiot with no regard for my own personal safety. Shot with a gopro hd cam mounted on my helmet. I'm hoping yamaha will produce a 450x soon or I will have to start looking at either ktm or aprilia...

    Nice twisties about 2:33 on....

I recomend the KTM big time. I have a buddy with a 450. And it's a lot of fun.

Hey I recommend the ktms well duh but I have a wr250f for a beater/friend bike and I have 2 suggestions with your bike if its built on the same bike as mine, first there is the "octopus" and it some smog crap that limits your power look up de-octopus and find out how to do it, there is also a throttle stop that limits your turn, and there is 2 barrels in the exhaust if you are running stock exhaust that you can remove to gain more power, and a good rejet is prime after all this.

If you have already done this stuff and more Ill go embarrassingly back to my corner in ktmtalk.com

Thanks for offering advice but I'm all set man. My bike has been highly modified...and never will I rejet this bike! I'm FI man :D

The X and R models first came out in 2008 and they were FI from day 1....

I love em...easily moveable for better viewing depending on riding position

sadly, I've only put Husky Liners in it thus far - tend to blow all my cash on my bikes and guitars.
I love injection!! Came off an old carbed yamaha that was quirpy as hell in different conditions/elevations -- it's nice to hit the key and know your bike will run right every time when you're sitting at over 4500ft.
