I want the new iPhone and I can on selling my old 3G 16GB.

Is willing to send me a check for $145. That sounds way to good to be true. That would make a new iPhone 4 16GB $55.

Do they look legit to you?

 

Tried Posting on Craigslist? Around my area the 3g iPhones goes for about 250

 

Okay I guess it's not such a good deal if people are willing to buy for that price. I will need to get a new one before I part with my old one.

Why wouldn't you just a new iPhone for $50 more though?

 

They just buy them from you, and resell them for more. So you are better off selling it yourself.
