Max roof load, offroading with toppers

I have already done a search to no avail.
Any idea on a good max load to carry on the roof of my ARE Z series with Yak bars.
I could not find a weight max for the ARE Z series or Yak bars. I did call the Cap dealer and they said 150lb heavy off roading no problem. they also said they would repair/ replace if it cracked! But I am heading on a 7 day off roading trip, and would hate to crack the roof day one and destroy my sleeping accommodations.
They reason I ask, is I need to carry extra fuel and don't have a good mount (swing out bumper) So I am looking to mount 2X 20L military Jerry cans to the Yak bars on the topper. But that’s 40Kilos or 88lbs of fuel up there. Any ideas?
I don't want to mount in cap as that’s my sleeping accommodations

 

Just get one of these... 100 bucks not bad. Or make one yourself.

I use a cargo box on my MX top with Yakima rack to go to hunting camp...I probably put about 200# up there. There are no roads to get out there - some logging trails, but then the last few miles is pretty much just a trail we have made through the woods. No major stuff but there is a lot of mud, you have to cross a river, and quite often there are downed trees and stuff. I have had no issues and would not think twice about slapping a couple cans of fuel up there. Actually, my biggest concern with that would be it leaking and ruining the paint on the cap.

Here she is fully loaded...you can see the ass end sagging quite a bit.

 

If you have a roof rack I can't imagine the max load being too small, the roof is designed to protect you in a rollover

You will be fine carrying jerry cans. These guys are running setups like you are asking about.

 

Thank you everyone! I am currently out in the garage planning something out. I will post photos once I build it. I don't weld, so it will be made out of wood.
