Pinstripe removal need help asap!!!

    No. It seems a little 'scary' at first but I have done 2 vehicles with this wheel with no issues. I even applied with heavy pressure to those hard to remove adhesive areas with no paint damage, also works in removing the emblems adhesive if you decide to debadge your truck. The wheel works like an eraser, the rubber material does flake off and wear out.

    oil change...
    these things are great. but on my taco I just peeled my stripe right off by hand after leaving the truck in the sun for a little while. I think everyone is looking in to it too much. just go peel that shit off! haha its not like your installing a SC :rolleyes:

    I removed mine this past weekend. I just let it sit in the sun for a while then peeled away slowly. I went behind it with some Windex and then a clay bar afterwards. Finish it off with some wax and you're good.

    Windex does not harm the paint. It will remove all wax layers back down to the clear coat, so it's important to go back with a layer or two of wax afterward. I used a polishing wax, which helped to "blend" the line left from removing the pinstripe so that it's not even noticeable now.
