gofas messes with his Ole truck.

I'll start posting all my crap here and progress with my agonizing decision making and questions along with my reading and searching on what to do next with my truck. can't leave it alone.

I got my springs in yesterday along with the new coils. My lower back is kinda killing me from playing golf the last couple of days. I guess I'll have to sit back and drink a beer and plan my angle of attack on this leaf install. Let's see I need some tools. 17mm and 19mm 1/2 drive and a Hella stout pull-handle. some jack stands. lol, my jack stands are now holding up my camper trailer that I am presently living in. lol,,

today it was high of 109 and 97 in my camper in the shade so I decided to take a nap and start my leaf install in the evening. all went without a hitch except for the Leaf bolt on the left next to the gas tank. it's seized. so I put some PB blaster and hope to get it off in the morning then begin torquing all the bolts along with the shocks and mount the wheels.

I grinded the bolt the next morning then went into town for the new pin and nut for left and came back and torqued everything down. got the tires on and got ready for a test ride.

Amazing new ride on the Wheelers springs!!!! 8/27

I wish I had done this along time ago cause the ride is much better. Definitely recommend this job and recommend getting new bolts ahead of time and have a hand held metal grinder close by.

The 881 install 9/10

kind of stiff might try trd or 880's. I noticed my old springs where different. One is lighter than the other. not sure which side I took which off of.

lower control arms w/bushings ebay 9/16
was not the problem,, proper torque of sus parts helped that.

timing belt and pulleys, belts 10/10

Right cv axle and seals 11/01

12/15 new bf AT tires

The Adjustable cam bolts are getting the best of me this morning. I need my truck Sunday evening and would hate to be stranded. I might have to bail out on LCA install until I order and have some new cam bolts close by. Wondering who has the least expensive OEM Toyota parts, so I can order these cam bolts. My Toyota dealer in Ukiah likes to stick it to the customer with high prices, I guess that is not unusual.
