Taco76087's 2004 Prerunner TRD Build

Started with a stock 2004 Toyota Tacoma Xtra Cab prerunner TRD

Installed my Headunit,sub, and amp, the 2nd day of owning

Added Clear Corners

Walmart Floormats

Installed Bilstein 5100's

Bought some 2nd Generation Wheels

Stickers

New Headlights and Turn Signal Lights

New Shell

Future Mods

FJ TRD Center Caps
AAL or New Leaf Pack
New Speakers
Powdercoated or rattlecanned wheels
Offroad Bumpers
Bigger tires and lift
New Tint

Before with 1'' up front

After with 2.5'' up front and 3'' in the back

Truck looks great! I've been doing what seems like endless research trying to figure out my best options for new suspension on my first gen. Did you only install 5100's all the way around? and if so what did you set the front at? I'm afraid if i raise the front, it will be too high without doing anything to the rear suspension. sorry for all the questions but any help is greatly appreciated

I set my Bilsteins at the middle setting, which is 1" lift. I only have them in the front. Before I put the camper shell on it was level with the rear.

WoW 1'' lift looks great! I am really considering buying some 5100 and you just sealed the deal! The ride quality must have improved quite a bit over stock. Cuz either my oem billies are worn out or I bounce around all over the place!

Are you going to lift more?

Yeah, I'm getting a 3'' AAL out back and moving the 5100's up to 2.5" so it won't have a REALLY bad rake lol

Put in the 3'' Add A Leaf, planning on moving the Billies up to 2.5'' lift.

Haven't done anything since, but I expect Santa will bring me some more mods

I have another set of TRD offroad wheels that I am in the process of painting, or possibly powder coating. You have any pics of your truck?

So in this pic it has the 3" AAL and the front 5100's set at 0?

It's a Tuff Country 3" Easy Ride AAL and I got them from suspensionconnection.com for around $50. They ride like stock.
