It's gear oil... I think the brake lines are fine. But gear oil isn't a fun problem either.

I'd imagine it'd be like those old Samurai movies... the brake line brakes and then sprays wildly all over. Then you might have too much pressure in your brake lines.

yeah, i had my clutch line in the engine bay go out on my old 92 toyota and it sprayed brake fluid all over the engine bay. im sure a busted brake line in the rear would do the same

It's coming out the ARB line that's not attached to anything my breather is not working well. It's a known issue with the 9" housing. I'm changing the breather to a free flowing line.

Crap!!! Not good, dude. You probably blew one of the two little ARB air-to-gear oil seals in the carrier, or maybe the little copper tubing got nicked. :notsure:

I'm reading that its a known issue with the RD99 ARB to seap oil into the air line with bellow type breathers. I swapped it out for a hose and it didnt happen on the way home so we will see if that fixed the issue.

Well no oil coming out the line today so that's good news. My shop is only 18 miles from my house so the real test will be driving to the meet tonight. I've got a gallon of 85/140 in the truck just in case :D
