Adam, did any crazy trimming have to be done to fit the 33x12.5? Getting new tires this weekend and i wanna make sure what i'm getting into. Pinch weld is already flat and front linings have been trimmed. I haven't touched my fender flares

I've done a fair bit of trimming. More because of the wheel spacers I'm running. But even before the wheel spacers I had to trim the bottom of the flares some. I would plan on needing to if I were you. Have a BFH ready too, you might need to massage the firewall a bit as well.

Adam, I curious, why do you prefer to wheel with your 33 vice 35's?

For a few reasons. The main one right now is because I haven't tubbed the firewall so the 35's don't fit for wheeling. They work fine on the road but wheeling would be different.

Secondly, there's plenty of people that don't agree with me on this and that's fine. But on these trucks you can do everything with 33's that you could do with 35's. The amount of work to get 35's to fit is pointless when you consider the actual gains that are found. 37's would make sense but 35's are purely for looks IMO. Functionally 33's will do what 35's will do on these trucks.

Whats the point of wheeling if you dont look good doing it?

And why did you get 35's if you dont intend to use them :p

Hey Adam, somebody brought up a question about the bed sides bowing out from a bed rack and RTT. Have you experienced any of this with yours?

Truck looks just fine with 33's.

I already had the 35's. I took them off my Land Cruiser. They are my street tires so I don't burn through tread on my wheeling tires.

Nope. Everything is still nice and straight on mine. A properly built bedrack will actually help this NOT happen. If the bedrack is strong and doesn't "collapse" and push the legs out then it won't push the bedsides out. The rack will actually help hold the bedsides where they should be since the rack is bolted to them.

Cool, thanks! I wasn't too worried about and thought with how long you've had yours on the truck you'd be a great person to ask.

Can't argue with that... So far happy Ive with my 33's. However, whenever we have a mod meet out here I always feel like Im driving a Prius. I used to be able to park next to Paul but now he has 35's... :(

You ever have to replace wheel bearings due to such a small offset?
