I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I love the new tires Adam the truck looks awesome.

And on a side note Jace i have just over 35,000 miles on my DuraTracks and they still are at 11/32 on the rear tires and in between 11 & 12 in the front.

Thanks. That's good mileage on those Duratracs. Better than most of what I've heard. Can't wait to see your new axle setup all done.

2x on the tires, I really like the MTR's but I think the Duratracs grabbed the rocks better. I got around 30k out of mine when I sold them to my buddy (Jerretxx) and they still had a lot of tread left.

The side wall on the MTR is a lot stronger from what I have heard/witnessed. I've had times where I knew I was going to cut one and came out ok.

Have you noticed any difference gas mileage wise?

Yeah I've had a slight drop in mileage but I know some of that is because of the crappy winter blend fuel. I'm trying not to get too worked up by it until the summer blend returns and I have a better idea what the real change is.

On a side note, I love the new graphics look... just those two simple lines above the front driver's flare.

(And yes I see something written along the driver's side line up the hood)

Yeah those stripes got changed months ago.

and on the hood I'm trying to represent a friends business. Jeremy Womack who owns Expedition Ops is a great guy and is a great source for overland stuff.

I love your set up man, the truck looks good with the new tires as well!! You'll probably love the 12.50s, only thing I don't like is how much mud they sling. You might not have a problem because you have flares but you probably will get just a little more dirtier than you used to. Keep up the good work man!!

Thanks man. We go wheeling in the rocks out here, not the mud ;) Just playing with ya, sure there's mud now and then, but its not the majority of the terrain.

Hey Adam, how are you liking the 12.5''s? Your truck looks so nice with the new tires! Those pics above are making me change my mind about 12.5. Your truck and Sanders dcab.

15x8s give you a tiny bit more height due to pulling the tire in. You also get better rim protection from rock rash.

15x10s will give you a much wider look. Almost 1'' wider. Rock rash is most likely to happen too when wheeling.

I like the 15x8 look personally.

I like the 12.5's . I noticed a small hit to my fuel economy, and I have a bit of rubbing that I didn't have with the 10.5's. I'll take care of that as soon as the weather is a little better.

Personally I like the 15x8 wheels much better than 15x10s. I don't like the super 'fat' look with the 10" wide wheels. Makes it looks like one of those Hawaiian trucks. No offense to my islander friends. Besides the things that Monte mentioned.

Agreed... I went down from a 9" to an 8" wide wheel for the reasons Monte mentioned. Also, poor man's beadlock... :) I was running 12 psi up front and 10psi in the rear my last wheeling trip. Not even close to losing a bead.. I want to try 10 & 8 next time.

I'd say one of the main cons to consider when running an 8" wheel with a 12.5" tire is that its very hard to keep the center 10" or so of tread to were faster than the outside edges... Even if you're religious about pressure. However, I think this would only become a problem on a truck that mostly sees street miles since off-road abuse would help to sorta round off those corners... :notsure:

So yeah, on a truck that actually wheels, narrow wheels FTW.
