Replaced my steering rack bushings last night. I love having a friend with a lift. I don't use it all that often but it sure makes things nice when you need it.

Fresh alignment this morning. Moab kinda messed things up a bit. :) Yeah it was a little off.

Whoa I never noticed your shackles go beyond 90* with the new shock location.
Notice any binding/hangup issues from that while wheeling?

Nope. They seem to move pretty well. I guess there's a slight increase in potential for inverting the shackles but typically that won't happen unless it's a really quick compression of the spring....like from jumping. :anonymous:

My buddy owns a shop. He's pretty cool about me coming in and tightening things if he is not totally busy. Makes working on the truck pretty easy when it works out.

yeah, the part that makes me jealous is that it's just my friend's garage at his house.

Lift, pallette racking, full machining tools, welder/plasma, yada yada. Only inconvenience last night was pushing the Class 5 Baja race car out of the way. ;)

Not to hijack your thread, love your truck by the way, it's been an inspiration on my own, but I also have a buddy with a lift! Gotta love it!

Now that is a serious work space. Can you imagine what you could do with that space compared to your current work space! Most definitely a BOX ROCKET FABRICATION SHOP! Nah, you do awesome work with what you have already.

yeah, but I had to walk all the way over to the other side of the shop to get a cold drink out of the fridge and got distracted by the Stanley Cup playoffs on the 60" TV and didn't finish replacing the bushins on time.

I noticed at Moab you relocated your parking brake cable downwards on the axle have you ever got that caught on anything... Oh and your truck looks even better in person

It's not relocated. That's the original location for an '03. And thanks for the compliment.

Ohhh I gotcha mines over the top of the axle but it touches the leaf pack that's why I thought you relocated

They didn't really work for me the offset is odd... So I didn't use them I think Adam did some mixing and matching of bolts and bushings
