This is my 2001 3.4L V6 DC TRD 4x4. My dad bought it back in 2002 and gave me this truck after he bought a 2011 black DC Tacoma.
Started modding my truck in January and now that I feel I have done a good amount to the truck so far there is always a long list of more things I want to do haha.

This was when it was still stock before my dad gave me the truck.

thanks man. yeah, a buddy and i did it ourselves. the only thing i had done by someone was have the strut assembly put together. i didnt want to mess around with compressors or anything. i would recommend an AAL instead of shackles though. my leafs are completely flat so i cant carry and load in the back. with very little experience it went together pretty well though.

Its decent, ill give it that. My friend talked me into buying it somehow, and i like it because i spent $38 dollars total. Thats with the clamps, hangars, the tip, and the exhaust itself. It went up super easy. I personally think it sounds alright, but i drive between NH and CT pretty often and it is kinda loud. if someone is with me i have to yell a bit, and the music has to be cranked to really hear it. But i have it so it comes out right before the rear wheel so that contributes to it being louder in the cab. i do actually have a video of it. Its not the best, i don't have a video camera, so my friend just used his phone but its not bad at all for a phone camera. he has a droid or something like that...

Thanks everyone! anyone have any recommendations for wheels? Only thing i want specifically is something i can still rely on in the snow and some that is still relatively aggressive looking. I was thinking bfg a/ts but im not sure about them. they are pretty expensive.

They are a little pricie if you go with a 15x8 inch wheel you could still put 33 x 12.50's on and fill those wheel wells up a lot cheaper. I've had at least 5 sets on different yotas and have all dine great and wore well. Of you rotate them like you should they will last at least 60 thousand miles on them. Check tirerack.com usually have them on sale from time to time.
