Yeah its a pretty fun spot, especially right after they grade it for the races. Its only 5 minutes away from me and is perfect for shakedown runs before desert trips.

I need to get those 63's on stat so i can do this...

This thing is a torquey lil shit and I'm really enjoying driving it but I'm always open to reasonable offers. Please note my friend discount will not be passed on to anyone esle as i AM looking to make a little money on it.
I'm about to paint the fenders the factory color, by next week i should have some 12" bilstien 5150's in the rear with the upper shock mounts relocated but still under the bed, and longer 8" shackles installed.
I've been welding up the cracks in the bed with scrap steel, worked fine and it no longer creeks and rattles.

No I do not ride bmx. Just my dirtbike but not competitively. I'm on pirate4x4 and dezertrangers on occasion, mostly just for the classified sections.

I originaly got this to lug my bike around and was going to drive this thing for another year to get some use out of my work then sell it to get a tow rig. But i'm not sure at this point as my jeep drives to and from the trail just fine and this thing gets really good gas mileage and is a blast to rip around in the dirt. Its my first taco and i guess you can say its growing on me.
If i do post it I'll probably post it for 3,500 and see what kind of offers i get. I think thats adequate seeing as everything i've done (receipts included) should help to maintain this things reliability for another 200+ thousand miles. I try to concentrate on maintenance before mods. Currently has 137k on the whole chasis.
Like i said i'm content for now, but i'm willing to entertain offers.

That's a cool truck, but I'm not looking to spend a fortune on one.

I'm just looking for a toy to drive the piss out of at the river/trails then trailer it to Pismo during Thanksgiving.

Picked up a stock jeep wrangler tire carrier for 20 bucks off c-list and bolted it to the bed...

    works great
    photo-13_6f8008d39fc766a94bcd25ad3c8097e946bcd7f7.jpg

    rebuilt the starter

flipped the lower ball joints to the top side of the spindle (they were under the spindle when i baught the truck) and got another inch of lift. Apparantly this thing was a mini truck at some point in its life and nobody knew any better to switch back to original mounting position.
Thanks to joels98taco i now have much better lower control arm angles and a smother ride. And most likely the root cause of why my buddy broke so many bj's.

    photo5_3978899c48c468c7ba7e98a2e759a840627be180.jpg

took it wheeling last weekend, still waiting on pics from my buddy.

Also welded up all the cracks in the bed, got a bed liner/insert to cover up its nastyness.
Also got my paint in the mail to paint my front fenders factory sunfire red. Just need a gun.

HAHA I never commented on the BJ cuz I thought LT was different. Good lookin out joel! My bed has a crazy amount of welds in it to hold it together. You should pull those rear bedsides out.
