    "Some" is quantitatively subjective.
    The fronts get hot enough that you'll burn your hand if you touch the shock body for more than a second. The rear's hold about twice as much oil as the front bypasses so they don't get nearly as hot even though they work a little harder.

    That would be the case if I just had a coilover. But I'm running valving in both the coilover and the bypass.
    Coilover has .012 on comp and .010 on rebound and the bypass has .020 on comp and .010 on rebound, both with the same size resi. So it comes down to changing the oil out at pretty much the same time, but a little faster up front.
