    Took off my wheels to retorque everything after driving about 20 miles, just as a double check. My Uniball bolt was a little loose

    Put my tires back on, got my lugs finger tight then used one hit from my impact to torque them...

    But this was when my battery was drained...my impact didn't tighten much

    Went to drive around and heard a rotational grinding that got pretty bad.......
    Went home
    Checked the lugs

    Avoided near disaster

    My studs are fine, thankfully

    Also retorque by hand ;) Life lesson for ya. After working in a tire shop as a teen, I even seen many of those torque bars for impacts f*ck things up. Always final by hand.

    I nearly shit my pants on the drive home. couldnt tell wtf was going on

    When I sold my takeoff my buddy came over and I put them on for him and I quadruple checked them because I didn't have a torque stick/wrench I know I can hand tighten to 40'lbs so I double my efforts or close to it:eek:

    now all I gotta do is adjust the front up a little and change the inner tie rod and get an alignment and get my muffler on and get my bumpers in and she'll be done! for now!

    but it started to rust through the paint with the salt here.... gotta fix it up
