I bought an unpainted black grille, sanded it, primed it, then painted it with duplicolor spray touch up.

    Sweet rig!

I did the same thing with the bug deflector- took it off for a minute, then decided not to put it back on.

Thinkin about taking off my plastic lower valence on the front bumper too- looks nice. Have you seen the mod to put your blinker bulb in the corner light? It looks pretty easy.

Lookin to do a very similar suspension setup, when I do.

But, just droppin in to say you've got yourself a badass truck

Looking good, not as many of our coloured trucks around that are lifted. Keep up the progress

    Thanks!
I thought about the blinker mod, but I leave the park lights all the time to avoid being hassled by the cops. Up here all vehicles made since the early-mid 90s require DRLs. Since my truck is American, it doesnt have DRLs so I just leave the park lights on all the time. (since the auto off when the key is out and the door opens)
I would love to lose the signal lights though. I thought about an Audi LED strip DRL but I think they look cheesy if they arent OEM.

get them led solid ones for headlights, and parking, with the led at the bottom, then do the blinker mod and put them into your parking lights. only thing is you'd have to redo your mori's

Cool build man! Where is your family's farm? Looks like the Digby area? If so that's my neck of the woods. :)

Just ordered up everything to do the HID swap from TRS today (had a $200 credit with them that I had to use up) and I used this thread as a reference. Thanks for the info!

That's cool. Those h1s are super easy to install.
The farm is actually at the opposite end of ns in cape breton. Close to whycocomagh if you know where that is.

Nice truck! I may have missed this in an earlier poost but did you do a front doiff drop when you did the lift to keep things wihtin working angles or just lift it without? If the later how is it hadnling and how did alignment go?

Yes, diff drop. Didnt compare to without so I dont know if it actually works.
Handling is....well, shitty. haha The 285/75/16s are heavy. It's a lifted truck so it wont handle like a sports car, ever.
I got an alignment but it didnt need anything for toe & camber. Only the caster was off and it couldnt be brought into spec without some UCAs
