Sub'd! Dude, I love your build. Efficient, effective and aesthetically AWESOME!
Also, that swing out tire/fuel can rack is brilliant and may have to borrow that.
    Build on!

I see someone else uses circuitlab, great program.

This diagram looks great, I was having a very hard time trying to figure out the previous 2 (diode and relay wiring seemed off).

So I apologize in advance for the essay of questions I'm about to ask you...

I had an idea for a lighting system like this, but had no idea where to to start for the telescoping system. I've gotta say, your execution was absolutely perfect.

Where did you find those poles?

    Length closed/open?

Do they sway very much at full extension?

My plan is along the lines of one pole with a plate along the top (T-shape), with a 6" led flood mounted at either end, so they could either be facing the same way, or opposite each other.

I'm just wondering if that amount of weight would sway too much to be good as a work/camp light.

For the camp lights, did you use any kind of quick disconnect that would make it easy to remove them from the truck completely?

I use one of these as a quick disconnect for a 3rd AUX reverse light when I have my soft top on.

It's just cut in half, with one end spliced to the light, the other is spliced into my permanent Aux Rev. light relay.

    I'm wondering if/what you use?

Also, thanks for showing the waytech micro relay/combined fuse box. I will absolutely be getting a few of those.

Any reason you chose SPST relays with resistors, as opposed to no resistor?

What's your total wattage and amp draw for all of your lights?

Are you designing your own Dual Battery system or buying one?

    Yay questions!

okay im going to answer all the questions within your post below in red..

yes i am building my own Dual battery setup. That is my next project as well as a CS144 Alternator upgrade(140amp).

hope that helps. Feel free to ask any more.

Awesome, what components are you going to be using for the dual batteries?

By the way, another connector that I like to use for low amp draw components (no more than 1 amp) is this:

They're the 12v DC plugs that are commonly used in CCTV applications. The ones I have come with 18 AWG wires. These are really nice because they are very low profile, and you only need 1 plug on the component (inner pin +, outer -). They're generally rated for 1 amp, but some manufacturers will rate them higher, at 2-3.

Really nice for things like the blitzpro 6" bar (0.5A), and switches that control relay coils (a switch with an led draws about 20mA and the relay coil draws about 160 mA).

**I'm sure you already know all these numbers, but I don't want someone to read my post and think they can use these connectors to power some 55w lights or anything like that.

Yes those would be awesome. Not sure about ifid use em outside the cab. But would be nice for the switches.

My aux battery will power all the lights and my cooler as well as my main stereo amps and an electric blanket and CB radio. So that I can run some of that stuff with the truck off and know I can start the truck in the morning.

 Very nice, can't wait to see how this turns out.

Do you have any info on the CS144? Why that one? I'm thinking I might want to go this route.

I have tons. About 4 threads on it. I can post em if ya want

I chose it because at idle it's rated at 110-120 amps. 2x the amount stock does at normal speed. At just 1200-1500 it does 140-150 amps.

Not only that it also bolts right it. You need a 1/4" spacer and instead of the stock belt you need to use a power steering belt. Other then that you just have to do a bit of wiring and it goes right in. Plus, it's very affordable.

I can wait to start it. Will be very handy.
