Yea. Pull the inner side panel. Only way you can get the 4 nuts off the studs on the window itself. The latch is pretty easy to take off

Actually I liked the sawzall better.

Don't be scared to cut too much either...seriously. Takes more then you will think. Just cut a big ass hole.

    For what? :p

Yeah I have a guy coming in to weld for me since I can't so kinda have to get it right the first time. I don't mind doing a little cutting, and having a friend come over to help also so we should be able to get it done I think. How did you mark where you rub?

Eyeballed it haha you just take out the tire on and off till it's doesn't rub and full stuff and turned.

There is a link in the OP on how I did it.

But really you just cut it as far back to the body mount and to the frame. Then up and up. Cut to the lower door mount too. Might even have to cut it a tad.

Will depend on a few things. Total back spacing and rim width and tire make mainly.

If you have to cut before your buddy comes. Do it two days before or so.

Why two days? I was planning on cutting it all Friday, then welding Saturday. Thanks for all the help btw. Have you done anything about rubbing the frame?

Cause shit always takes longer then you plan that's why :p

No I haven't. Even with my wide stance still rubs at full lock. I just don't turn to full lock...I have future plans that'll solve that issue though :spy:

Lol you hush! I already spent to much time drooling over long travel. I came to the conclusion that for my location and that price I may as well SAS and it'll be more fitted for what it would be used for

Cause she's still a dd for now, not enough money to sas and would rather not get into all that right now lol. I just want something a lot more capable and knew that this should keep me satisfied for another year or two

You have 33s and full skids? Lockers? Cause that is a very very capable setup...just more paint left on rocks from the skids :D

Cause you will also HAVE to regear especially if it's a dd...which idk if you are..are you a manual or auto? But that's a big cost.

I'm auto lol full skids, no locker until after this week end, and on 265/75/16. With that said I know everyone's gonna say I should have went 33s but I've drooled over 35s everyday so why spend a grand on 33s and regret not going 35s when for 1300 I can just go ahead and get them. When I say it's my dd I drive it 20 min to school twice a week, then to wheel on week ends or go see my gf. All other driving is done in my work truck. I plan on rehearing asap though

You'll want to regear very very quickly. You won't even be able to use overdrive at all.

Idk man. 33s will take a LOT of places. And really is the perfect tire size for our trucks in terms of filament and capability while keeping DDing abilities very easy.

I mean yea. Tire cost isn't that much different. But you'll have to get wheel spacers probably. And regear. And if you aren't gonna do your diffs yourself that's like 2ish grand from ECGS.

So really..it's like $2800ish extra for 35s haha

They are awesome and I love them offroad. But I had 0 issues with my 33s.

But go for broke man  they are awesome :D just cost more money then you think and a lot more work.

Yeah I hear ya on the gears, there's a guy here that does it for about $200 and has done a couple other guys on here before so I'll probably just by the gears and instal kits then have him do em.

And I've already got wheel spacers, and a tranny cooler lol oh wells. It'll all be said and done tomorrow morning when I pick them up haha

    Nice!

You won't have the frame issues as bad as me. Least you shouldn't. What kind of rims and spacers?

Hmm so 3" BS on a 7" wide rim. Pushing the rim width but whatever. Won't be as wide as mine by a lot. But less BS.

    You'll find out :D
