Yep :D haha how did you mount it? I have read that you mostly just pull the ash tray and shove it in there

Pretty much all I did. It fits very smuggly in there. No additional support needed. YMMV.

If you want it to set way back in, more modding will necessary because the coax connecter on the back of the radio will come up against some plastic molding back in there.

I actually don't mind that mine sticks out about 2". The speaker on the bottom is fully exposed that way and it is plenty loud for me.

Ya that's true. Was thinking about getting am external speaker so I could shove it back for a cleaner look.

Did you route the power strait to the battery too? I heard mark said to do that or something

Yup, less interference/noise issues that way. Gotta remember to turn the thing off tho if you wire it that way.

Interesting. Looks like your spare tire carrier adjusts to fit to the size of the spare. Mine is a fixed/one piece deal.

So did you just decide to patch up the bad areas instead of removing the whole top of the cab?

Ya I noticed that too and thought it strange cause I thought you had to modify them to fit a 33. But looks like mine would fit one as is...

And yes after more discussion we decided this way was fastest as that's what we really need to get done.

I WAMT MY TRUCK BACK! Lol

I've got a great idea for your old cab.

Turn it into a bed like Ricky Schroder's race car one in Silver Spoons.
